- alt-cmd-T to show/hide
- View > Customize Toolbar...
The Toolbar displays icons for most frequently used functions, and this is also where you find the Spotlight search box.
You can find Toolbar icons for most frequent operations and tools, and arrange them as you like. Right-click the toolbar or go to View menu and select Customize Toolbar....
Use alt-cmd-T to toggle Toolbar show/hide
