Info Pane

  • alt-cmd-I
  • View > Show Info Pane

You can Show/Hide the Info Pane using the alt-cmd-I keyboard shortcut. It displays a fix size thumbnail preview of the item selected in the active pane, along with general file information, including dimensions for image files.

The Info Pane will not allow you to change the data listed here (permissions, metadata). These are set through the Get Info panel.
