Bluetooth device
From Forklift Wiki
ForkLift enables you to connect to any Bluetooth enabled device, such as PDAs and mobile phones.
To connect to a Bluetooth for the first time, you will need to pair the device with your computer. After this first setup, ForkLift will be able to connect without interruption.
Once connected to the device, you will be able to work with the data store on the server in the same way you work with local data. Using QuickLook, editing files, browsing archives or using batch rename are all possible.
To set up or modify a Bluetooth connection, open a new connection or edit an existing Favorite.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Enter a name for the connection. This is how the connection will show up on the Sidebar (optional).
- You should see a list of Bluetooth devices that have already been paired with your computer. Select your Bluetooth device from the list. Make sure your device's Bluetooth service is turned on.
- If your device is not in the list, you should click 'setup new device' and pair your device first. Clicking here will launch OS X's standard Bluetooth pairing dialogue.
- You can set an Initial Path for your Bluetooth connected device, like your camera folder on your mobile phone (e.g.: /Memory Stick/DCIM).
On connection, ForkLift will open directly in this folder. - You can choose to add this connection to your FAVORITES straight away.
- Click Connect.
On connection, a spinning progress indicator shows the connection is in progress. An alert is displayed if the connection fails for some reason.
Once the connection is established, the volume is listed in ForkLift's Sidebar under CONNECTIONS.
You can disconnect from the server by clicking the small eject button next to the connection's name in the Sidebar, or selecting the connection in the Sidebar and clicking File > Disconnect.
